Tom has worked with stone since completing his fine art training back in the early 2000's. Following his degree, interest moved from conceptual considerations surrounding art and the public realm to focus on method and traditional skills. Tom has worked with stone for over 17 years, producing quality hand-carved lettering at his workshop near Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.

All of his signs are unique commissions, from house name plaques to large architectural lettering projects. Working the finest quality stone with traditional tools and methods, Tom's work has an aesthetic quality absent in mass-produced machined products. His signs can be made to any size, large or small, and are delivered nationwide. Tom also offers an installation service and undertakes commissions requiring carving in-situ, working in all types of stone and even carving brickwork.

Stone plaques make perfect house signs and can be made to any dimensions required. These name and number plaques are in either 38mm or 50mm thick fine grained sandstone.
