We are an independent fire protection company established in 1993 and we are located in the rural village of Coate near Devizes, Wiltshire SN10 3LG. We believe in supplying quality fire equipment and a reliable and affordable service to existing and new customers alike. We believe this builds trust in the product and confidence in the company. We can service and refill most makes of portable fire extinguisher and hose reel.

Wherever practicable servicing and refilling is carried out on the customers premises. Should it be necessary for us to remove any appliance, we will loan you an equivalent unit for the duration that yours is away from site, we will never leave your business or home unprotected. All servicing completed is accompanied by a detailed certificate of inspection and in accordance with BS.5306 ( 2009 ).

We offer maintenance agreements to suit most customer needs, for commercial, industrial properties, schools, home or transport. The FIREPOWER range carry a FIVE year guarantee against defective materials or workmanship.

Should you need advice on new fire equipment, what type of fire extinguisher is needed, and where, no problem, just call us!
We will carry a detailed survey of the premises and put forward our recommendations along with a quotation detailing costs to install and maintain it.
We will then give you time to reflect, and await your reply.
As a business we have a legal duty of care to our customers to dispose of non compliant waste legitimately and safely via a licenced waste carrier.
Protect Fire offers for a small fee, a disposal service of condemned / end of shelf life, fire extinguishers.
Staff training can be carried out at your place of work in a safe and clear designated area.
The course runs for approximately two hours based on eight to ten persons attending.
The objective of the training is to provide staff with a sound knowledge of effective fire safety practices, including the safe use of portable fire equipment.
Firstly an introduction to the new EN3 colour coding system will take place, then how to select the right appliance for the class of fire, and the methods of fire extinction.
