Mesh allows approximately 30–50% of wind to pass through, depending on the specific porosity. This significantly reduces the pulling force on fixings in gusty conditions — particularly important at height on scaffolding.
It’s slightly different — the perforated surface means the image appears slightly less dense than on solid material. From a normal viewing distance (3–5 metres), the difference is minimal and the banner looks vivid and clear.
Bungee cords or cable ties through eyelets at 500mm intervals are the standard. For long-term installations, we recommend threading through all eyelets with rope banding for maximum security.
