Polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) films are the most water-resistant label materials — they don’t absorb moisture at all and maintain dimensional stability when wet. They’re used for ice-bucket beverage labels and products stored in very wet conditions.
Permanent waterproof labels are designed to stay on — they don’t come off easily. If cleanly removable waterproof labels are needed, we specify a removable adhesive variant at the cost of somewhat reduced initial tack.
Yes. Clear vinyl waterproof labels have a “no label” look — the design appears to float directly on the bottle or container surface. Very popular for premium beverage and cosmetic brands.
Not all of them — true dishwasher durability requires a specific substrate and adhesive combination. Tell us your exact requirement and we’ll specify accordingly.
Standard waterproof vinyl performs down to approximately -10°C. For freezer applications, we specify a freeze-resistant adhesive rated to -30°C or lower. Essential for frozen food and frozen beverage products.
